Our college established in 1982 spread over 35 acre of land is running 8 BE courses and 4 PG courses - MBA, MCA, M.Tech. in Water Resources Mgmt. & M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engg. This college is one of the best engineering colleges not only in Karnataka but in whole of India itself. It has got all the characteristics of a Regional Engineering College where about 50% students are from Karnataka and the rest 50% are from other States of India viz. Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Manipur, West Bengal, Delhi, UP, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra etc.

It has got much more infrastructure and other facilities than required by AICTE and the University like builtup area of 50000 m², 160 Teaching staff, 190 Non Teaching staff, 58000 books in the Library with more than 1500 e-subscribed and print journals, 03 boys hostels, 02 girls hostels, Class rooms, well equipped laboratories, T&P Cell, EDP Cell, Post Office, Bank, Language Lab, Vast sports ground and Wi-Fi campus.

Till date more than 7700 students have passed from our college and are well placed in Govt. and private sector organisations in India and abroad with the help of our active T&P Cell and all are doing very well. Our college does not accept any donation/ capitation fee. There is complete transparency in admission. For meritorious students scoring more than 75% marks and above fee concession / scholarship is provided under Management Quota. Similarly top rankers of Karnataka CET and AIEEE also get fee concession /scholarship upto 100% amount.

With whole hearted full cooperation of the Management, faculty and other staff, all the students, parents, alumni, the State Government, the Central Government. VTU, AICTE and the general society, this college is striving to be one of the best in the country by achieving its mission through its vision fulfilling all the objectives and hence goals in the years to come.
