Department of CSE (Cyber Securuty)


This department was established in the year 2023 with an intake of 60. It is striving to  produce world   class  IT professionals .  The Department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty.

Features

  • Seven well equipped computer laboratories with 225 systems & 3 xeon processor servers.
  • Data Structure, Algorithm, Computer Graphics, Computer Concept & Prog. Labs using C Language.
  • System Software Lab using Linux Operating System.
  • Object Oriented Programming using C++ Language.
  • Microprocessor Lab Using MASM.
  • Database Management System lab Using SQL, VB and Oracle.
  • Network Lab Using Simulation Package & Linux.
  • Internet Programming Lab Using JAVA, HTML, Perl, PHP.
  • High Speed Broad Band internet connection.
  • Operating system such as Fedora, Unix, Windows XP, Windows 2003 server Novell Netware and SCO Unix are available.
  • Database including Oracle, MS-SQL server, Db2 etc and Front end tools like Visual studio6 and Visual Studio.Net etc are available.
  • All the systems are networked using switches and all nodes are Avaya (systemax) certified.
  • Four 15 KVA &two 10 KVA UPS with 1 hours backup and 50 KVA centralized generator facility is available.
  • Separate department library to assist students and staff at department level.
  • Separate video conferencing classes through EDUSAT interactive terminal facility are available. Students can get their doubts clarified online.
  • 250 seated department Seminar Hall with all amenities.
  • Virtual Class Room with 42 high end systems is being utilized for conducting student projects and classes.

  • Department conducts Alumni Meet, Parents Meet, Fresher Meet, Farewell to final year students every year.
  • The department organizes Workshop & Seminars by Professionals, Alumni and Faculties.
  • The department has Student & Staff Association under which many Cultural activities, Quiz & Sports are being conducted.
  • Department co-ordinates state Government's MAHITI SINDHU program for Government High Schools in Karnataka.
  • Free internet coaching for SSLC passed students of Bidar district.
