This course under the parent department of Civil Engineering has been started in 1988 and has been running first with name of the course as M.E in Irrigation and Hydraulics Engineering which has been now rechristened as M.Tech in Water Resources Management. It is a unique course not only in Karnataka but in whole of India itself.
